Flexible Engineered Solutions is a world leader providing infrastructure solutions to offshore oil and gas and subsea markets. Its core products and services include fluid transfer systems, Hydraulic & Electrical Stab Plates, Bend Stiffener Latching Mechanisms, ROV Hot Stabs and Production/Hydraulic/Utility swivels.

Admiral provides strategic communications support to FES promoting the company and its products to key customer markets internationally. Our work includes refocusing brand position, refreshing corporate and product messaging and promoting brand awareness via targeted media relations.

The Printable Electronics Technology Centre (PETEC)

Petec

Petec is the Printable Electronics Technology Centre, a national prototyping institute for the development and commercialisation of printed electronics. The Centre offers design; development and prototyping services and facilities, helping companies address the challenges in Organic Displays Electronics delivering to clients, proof of concept devices and pilot scale manufacture.

Admiral worked with the centre to help raise awareness of the centre prior to launch with industry and customer markets through targeted media relations activity. The consultancy also worked with the team on developing messaging and positioning for the centre at a regional and national level with stakeholder audiences.

More recently Admiral provide event support for the international launch of Petec, which was chaired by Lord Alec Broers and attracted global leaders across the field of Printed Electronics, including 60 members of the International Organic Electronics Association.

Nanotechnology Industries Association

Nanotechnologies Industries Association

Funded by the Technology Strategy Board, the NIA provides industry-led views on nanotechnology, derived from the opinions of its collective membership with varied interests in nanotechnology, from a broad range of sectors including: healthcare, chemicals, automotive, materials processing, and consumer products.

Admiral supported the NIA in its goal to give one voice to companies who are involved in the development, production or commercialisation of nanotechnologies in the UK and Europe, and to develop its profile among national and international audiences.

Renew

Renew’s remit is to realise the delivery of commercial projects employing proven low carbon and environmental technologies across the whole of the North East.  Set up by Redcar and Cleveland Council in 2003 to pioneer the promotion of renewable energy and renewable sectors in the area, Renew supported a number of businesses in the  Tees Valley and its success led to the development of a region-wide approach.  Admiral was brought on board in late 2008 to support adaptation to this new role and help establish the organisation across the whole of the region.

CPI champions key technology areas that offer sustainable growth potential for the North East and the UK.  Admiral, employed by the centre, for five years offers strategic communications advice to support positioning in local, regional, national and international markets. This includes targeted media relations, event support and stakeholder relations activity.

Newcastle Science City

Newcastle Science City

Newcastle Science City was set up by Newcastle University, Newcastle City Council and One North East to help the region realise the full economic potential of its science-based industries. It delivers a range of activities including the development of a close-knit scientific community and encouraging more people to work in scientific industries.

Since November 2009, Admiral has provided strategic PR support and tactical implementation, with the goal of cementing its regional profile among key stakeholders and members of the public, raising Newcastle’s profile nationally as a ‘city of science’ and developing a lobbying agenda through representation of the regional scientific community.

03TALK is the UK’s first 03 number conference service. The mobile friendly conferencing service is free, easy to access and doesn’t require users to sign up or login. Its disruptive business model aims to challenge traditional conference providers.

Admiral is set to launch the company in August 2010, with a comprehensive communications campaign. Our aim is to raise the brand’s profile amongst key audiences, within appropriate online communities whilst garnering coverage in national and trade press.
